can you explain a little more in detail what you tried to achieve in this picture... what does the rock and chain holding the earth mean, what does the hand mean, what are the two worlds symbolize

hi, ive done pics like this before but always wondered how people give the picture that drawn look. what do you do to the grass and arm samples to make them look less real like its drawnalmost?
